Prayer and Home Bible Study Ministry

PRAYER & HOME BIBLE STUDY MINISTRY
Prayer was the catalyst that birthed the early Apostolic Church. The church prayed without ceasing. Acts 1:14 says, “These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication.” We here at F.U.P.C value prayer very highly, and we continue to exercise ourselves therein more earnestly, in obedience to His Word. What did the Apostles do? They said, “We will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the Word.” (Acts 6:4). The ministry of Home Bible Study is therefore used to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ on an individual (one to one) basis, to the end that souls will be saved. We are excited about what the Lord is doing in this season; we realize that we have at our disposal all the resources we need to destroy the works of darkness and to live a victorious life. It’s for that reason, we continue to pray and teach more earnestly, as the scripture says: “Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.”(Col. 4:2)…. God bless.
